We're with you every step of the way.
Are you a candidate for orthopedic surgery, or are you managing a chronic condition that impacts your walking ability? We are here to help!
What is gait? Why should I monitor it?
StrideLink uses a wearable sensor kit to measure the gait cycle, more commonly known as a person's "walking pattern". We then can see small changes missed by basic fitness trackers that are linked to:
Adverse events including fall risk
Expected Recovery Timelines
Improved Physical Function
Underlying Conditions
How does this work?
Your physician will prescribe StrideLink, and a member of our team called a Care Coordinator will reach out. Your care coordinator will help you set up the sensor kit given to you by your physician's office to measure your "walking patterns" or your gait.
Your care coordinator will give you short weekly phone calls to check in on how you are feeling, and talk you through the data. You'll work together to make small daily changes that will better optimize your recovery or help you manage your symptoms.
We also make sure to keep your physician informed between appointments so that you can continue to get the personalized care that you need.
I'm not good with technology. How often do I have to wear this?
We have people from age 8 to 80+ using StrideLink. As long as you have access to a smart phone, the mobile application will walk you through a very simple one time set up. If you have trouble, your care coordinator is always there to help! The sensor kit will attach to the top of any footwear, and only needs to be worn for a few minutes each day for a complete measurement.
